Robotic Mobility Platform Engineer / Senior Technician
Segway is searching for an RMP (Robotic Mobility Platform) Engineer or Senior Technician who can support activities in Design Engineering, Production and Service activities.
The ideal candidate will have a BS Degree in ME, EE or CS and experience with the design and development of software-driven electro-mechanical systems for robotics applications, skilled in rapid prototyping and possesses a strong interest in Robotics!
Engineering activities: Define, develop and evolve RMP product functionality (new and existing configurations). Ensure product meets appropriate standards for safety and quality. Produce documentation to support Segway’s manufacturing, customer operations, and business development. Perform validation and verification testing to ensure high product quality and safety. Perform product customization.
Operations activities: Assemble, test and provide technical services and service/diagnostic support for RMPs via e-mail and phone.
Electro-mechanical Technician
Aptitude for understanding, diagnosing and repairing robotic mechanical, electrical and electronic systems. Electro-mechanical assembly of stock and custom robotic platforms.
