About Segway
Service Systems Engineer
We are searching for a Service Systems Engineer to take on the role of lead Global Service technical resource responsible for developing specific requirements and technical specifications for service and diagnostics tools and then leading the development and manufacture for worldwide distribution. Will interface between the Global Service and the Product Development Groups defining the diagnostic and service needs of all Segway products.
The ideal candidate will have a BSEE degree with both hardware and embedded systems software experience and 5+ years experience in the development of electromechanical and embedded system test and diagnostic equipment.
Other responsibilities will involve:
- Establishing all technical requirements and specifications for all Segway diagnostic and service tools and equipment.
- Leading the design and development of all Segway diagnostic service tools and equipment and deliver finished product to the business for worldwide distribution. Provide actual design and development support as required.
- Managing internal and external resources in developing and producing Segway Diagnostic and Service Equipment.
- Providing the technical interface between the Segway Global Service Group and Product Development, defining diagnostic and service requirements for all future Segway products. Drive improvements in diagnostic functionality into product design for all new Segway products.
- Developing all necessary / new diagnostic service procedures and document them appropriately in the Segway Service Manual.
- Certified fork truck trainer
